Well, obviously Ableton made a minor (!) mistake but we don't have to copy that! :-)

It could for example be called "Dominant Phrygian" to avoid misconception.

Hey Moss,

Every time I hit "New" to record a new clip, overdub is turned on. Is there a way to keep overdub off?

thanks!

Uh no. That's how the function is inteded to work. You create a clip, which is ready for playing into it.

oh, I see. Since you can select a specific number of bars to record I though it could stop recording once that length is reached.

It's nice for realtime recording but if you're more into stepsequencing it's annoying.
Would be nice to have an option to deactivate this behaviour. Thanks!

Using the shift button would be the best IMO so you could choose to create armed/unarmed clips depending on your needs.

Thanks!

Hi Moss,

Really enjoying the push4bitwig script.

I didn't understand one thing though - how do I attach a cc command to push's touchstrip?
I do understand how to do this on push's side and assigned the touchstrip to send cc messages and able to choose the number of the cc command, but how do I assign that cc command to a certain parameter in bitwig?

Thanks,
Daniel.

If you want to address the "user control" midi it is assigned to the CC range of 71 to 79. These are the values that the Push knobs send by default.

P.S.: It is sufficient to post in 1 thread :wink:

First of all thanks for the great script!

I have a question though. Is it possible to change the sensitivity of the encoder knobs? They are quite fast.

Hi,

Is it possible to adjust the send FX level in the drummachine for a pad?
I can adjust the level and pan and there is a knob labeled "S1Fx " on the display of the Push,but turning it does not do anything.

You can try to tinker with the inc/dec values in Config.js to see if you find something more to your liking:

Config.fractionValue = 1;
Config.fractionMinValue = 0.5;

First one is for normal movement. Second one is when Shift ist pressed.

That is an open Bitwig bug.

:(

1.2 gonna resolve it you think?

Bitwig is doing a lot with device layers for 1.2, I would guess that by the time 1.2 is out of beta, this will be fixed.

Should I be able to use aftertouch ?

I tried (on the RC beta) to assign the AT-> modulation to cutoff and res on the polysynth, but nothing seems to happen.

I can use the aftertouch fine on Live.

I do wonder if it's configured correctly, as the script suggests polyAT whereas Ableton only claim Push has MonoAT (Channel Pressure).

Thanks for any help - the script is fantastic.
