Hey everyone, I just want to announce that Drumdrops are giving away their 60s Rogers Pop Kit (Single Hits Pack) to everyone interested, exclusively on BPB. The pack is a 266 MB download, featuring 138 samples in 24-bit WAV format and patches for NI Kontakt 5, NI Maschine, Ableton Live, Reason, etc.

Thanks, but just so no one is surprised there are a lot of hoops to jump through to get this. You have to give your email address twice, download a PDF, create a drumdrops account including address and then basically purchase the samples for no money. I had to disable noscript and adblocker to get it from the drumdrops website (yes I am paranoid).
Not saying it isn't worth it, but not just a one click and its on your hard-drive thing.
Update, Gumdrops seems to have given me some nice bonuses. I won't spoil them by blabbing what they are, but I would say worth the hoops. It has mappings for Kontakt and Battery and others.

And we were just talking about how there's a need for more drum kits that aren't very modern and very metal. I should definitely be able to use this.
Haven't checked out the sounds yet, but I did download and looked at the zip contents. There's shaker, tambourine and even guiro which is very nice. If you really want to go for a 60s sound, having a tambourine that was recorded in the same studio with the same gear as your drums is great.

Great offer thanks.
Personally I already had a DD account so really no issues with acquiring these samples - they have some great sounding kits and stems that are well worth checking out anyway!

Just posted this on the 'Bargains' thread, but Drumdrops are doing a discount on their newest library. The first 15 copies were free, then the next 50 were £15 (I managed to bag one of those!). Currently have 47 copies at £20, then 50 more at £30 before it goes up to full price (£40)
