Can't run Kirnu Cream in Ableton

Hi,

Ableton Live 9 intro (64bit), Windows 8.1 64 bit. Cream doesn't show up in Ableton. I have tried both the CM version from the Computer Music magazine cover disc and the Demo version from the Kirnu site. The .dll shows up in my Plugins folder but does not appear in Ableton. I have tried renaming the .dll file and installing the data files to a different folder as suggested in this forum but neither helps.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Run Ableton as administrator (right click the icon). You might need to rescan the vst plugins (hold alt and click rescan in Ableton).
