Can anyone tell me how many CPU cores Bitwig will utilize?
I know it has multi-core support, but is there a limit on this?
Like does it only go up to 4 or something?
jw cause i'm interested in getting a hex-core computer

I have a hex-core I7 with hyperthreading (12 threads) overclocked to 4.1GHz and it totally rocks, totally stable.
But like pretty much all DAWs: A single track uses one core, so you see better spread with more tracks (although some plugins can use multithreading internally, like for instance Diva and Bazille).
IMO it's worth it these days, especially if you also run multiple apps at the same time.
Cheers,
Tom
