MNoiseGenerator: pink noise level

Hi,

I'm generation pink noise, defining wet as -20 dB.

Why is it metered at about - 29 dB when I'm expecting - 20 dB ?

Is there no way to generate a signal with an exact level ?

If you use a signal generator in Protools or in Studio One & define -20 dB level you get -20 dB.

Pink noise here, at -20dB, varies between -18.8 and -20.5 dB on the plug-in's meters.

Where were you seeing -29dB?

PInk noise varying very much as it is basically a filtered white noise of that level.
