maybe i'm a little out of it, but the hornet sidechainer really confuses me - isn't the ducking effect usually intended to be ON beat not OFF beat?? you can see this it in the video overview (and also in the demo version) that the synth actually only plays in conjunction WITH the kick, but isn't the purpose of such an effect that synth and kick drum just don't overlap?

I have just been playin with the demo;
With the 'lenght' above 70 (and a pretty high smooth) it sounds like the usual ducking effect. when the 'lenght' parameter goes below 70, it starts to sound 'on' the beat.
It's like setting the attack and release time of the sidechain compressor too short.
