The Strum Quantizing in DAW

Hello -

Quantizing is a bit challenging.

When I manually record, I need to quantize in my DAW, but then, although the event is lined up with the grid in my daw, the strumming that I played is only partially there. So, when I 'undo' the quantize action in my DAW, the pattern that I played is fully restored, but it's still not quantized.

I'm not sure what this means (copied and pasted from The Strum Manual)

Please, notice that you should play the chord 10-20 ms. prior for its correct sounding.
If you want to make Quantize in your sequencer, you have to use the negative
track offset and have to set the value to at least the same value as the
Chord Detection time (Option page)


What is the 'negative track offset? And, setting the value...
