Let every member be a mod for one week, selection is done by random by the KVR lottery robot.

Or every member is allowed to lock one thread per week every week - just cleaning up all those useless information. Because "why don't you just test it for yourself?", "just google it!", you know.

Concerning the dislike of HPC.

I'm thinking that in every place there need to be some place for hooliganism, where users may vent. And if those/that place is closed, will mean that kind of behaviour show up in other parts of the forum instead.

The last couple of days site stuff sub-forum has felt a bit like HPC...
