Lead Developer/Programmer Wanted

Fractal Audio Systems revolutionized guitar audio with the world's most powerful preamp/effects processor. We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join our development team. This is an opportunity to deliver world class products that are changing an entire industry. The candidate will be responsible for writing and maintaining software applications, infrastructure, test and release utilities, and interfacing with custom signal processing modules. Projects include software editors for hardware projects, standalone applications (including iOS), web applications, native plugins, and more. The candidate will need to be very comfortable with guitar audio and signal processing concepts. This is a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial environment that demands and encourages innovation and free thinking.

Key Responsibilities

Strong coding skills in C, C++
Strong software engineering design, integration and test methodologies
Experience with the JUCE platform required
Knowledge of audio/DSP concepts required
Experience in debugging complex hardware/software interactions
Real-time audio processing experience desirable
Web applications development desirable (MySQL, PHP)
Ability to develop for Windows, Mac OS X, iOS
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Leadership experience a plus
An ability and willingness to juggle multiple assignments, adapt to fast-changing circumstances, and do what it takes to get the job done

Experience, Skills and Education Required

Minimum of a BS or related in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Musicianship or Audio industry experience preferred

Hahaha. Thats hilarious. I should really start looking at dates. I saw it on the top of the list and thought it was new. Well that's a good lesson to start looking at dates.
