Parameter pages on Polysynth?

Revisiting some older scripts to get ready for 1.2, and I've noticed that there aren't multiple pages of parameters for Polysynth like their are for FM4 and the Sampler. Is this normal behavior, or have I done something silly in my script?

I can access other pages of parameters for FM4, and Sampler, and I have some popups that tell me the name of the parameter page, I get LED feedback on my controller etc. But on Polysynth, as soon as I call nextParameterPage(), the popup says 'Default' all the LEDs go dark, and it doesn't control anything. Is this just the way Polysynth is?

Any advice/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Well with Maschine4Bitwig and Push4Bitwig, we have always had the correct pages for the polysynth.

You didn't accidentally delete them did you? Overwrite them? That is all I can think of.

That's a definite possibility. Where do those files/settings live? The same thing happened in a fresh download of the 1.2 beta today as well.

One question, can you add custom pages in the polysynth and have them show up?

As far as the files, I wouldn't think Bitwig actually puts them int he device file itself, so it's probably in some cache directory.

Bitwig keeps your settings. Therefore, you would need to delete them (or better move them to a save place) before installation.

But you can also simply check in Bitwig if the pages still exist. Just open the edit dialog. Right click on the heading of the device and select "Edit Panel Mappings".

Wow, this makes me feel a little thick. It had nothing to do with my scripting (which i suppose is a good thing), there just weren't any pages defined for default Polysynth.

After defining the pages, they seem to be persistent across all the presets as well, as I hoped.

Thanks for taking the time to answer guys, I appreciate it.
