I still can't get the AU version to recognize the path to my external HD for the data folder (Live 9). And it won't replace my VST 2 plugin from the Alpha version, for some reason.

There are now 26 Atmospheres and 61 Other presets from me, all fixed. Will definitely be making a second pass at all of the presets as there are more options now, but not until I have converted all of the present ones....

That's probably a permissions issue. Delete the plug-in manually, and then reinstall. Regarding the external folders, when you are installing, the installer asks where to put everything, including the presets and soundsets. By default, it wants ~/Library/Application Support/Wusik Station v8, but you can define another place, I guess.

You may also try to put aliases inside that folder for where you have the actual files. With some plug-ins that also works, as long as the names are the same.

William, in Windows, you need to define the installer to "Run as Administrator", otherwise, it will not replace older files, in protected folders 8such as the VstPlugIns folder, at least the one defined by default, which is Program Files (x86). The version I downloaded wasn'r replacing the older files because of this.

Also, you should define different default folders for the specific formats. By default, they are

VST x32: Program Files (x86)\VstPlugIns
VST x64: Program Files\VstPlugIns
VST3 x32: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST3
VST3 x64: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

I have defined a different path in the installer, and it never takes. It would be better to create a menu item for this, like they always have an "Options" menu in NI synths, so you can change the path whenever you want, or define new folders to search. You could also create a "Disk" option in the tree view, like they have in Kontakt or Reaktor. At any rate, I have defined a user folder, and it also doesn't take. I'll try to change the permissions, but this has never been an issue for me in the past.

- Oversampling option is back on, there's no longer an option to disable the lowpass downsample filter. I have optimized the code so it uses much less CPU usage even at 4x and 8x oversampling.
- Fixed the Search Preset, now it works.
- Fixed a crash problem with the reported presets.
- Wavesequencer Mode II, added Retrig option. By default a step will only retrig the sound if the layer or tune is different, or if XFade is above zero. Otherwise it will follow the Retrig option: Yes or No.
- Did some more optimizations on the code.
- Fixed more internal stuff.
- Audio Input is not working correctly yet, so is the Audio Looper. I will fix this next...
- Unison is working again.
Finally, it seems we're getting there in terms of sound quality. Have to perform some more tests, but now this starts to sound good :-)

I still would like that the GUI for the sampling module would be smaller, with the option to cal a bigger window if/when we double click to edit the samples/zones/whatever. Such big display just to wath the waveform seems a little useless to me. Even if you choose to leave it at the current size, the bigger editing window would be a good option, IMO.
I second that, it seems way too big and wastes space. :? It could be smaller, like even maybe half the size it is now, and then have a larger size for when you do the actual editing.
Just to come back to the sample window size issue, what I would prefer is to see the samples and wavesequencers all on the same page, rather than have to bring them up one by one. Or at least be able to see the wavesequencers by default instead of the great big non editable sample window.

Also will we be able to favourite or rate presets in the browser?

Fixed the issue, but I still hold by my suggestions of including an option to change/add paths in the menu. Also, seems that modwheel is not working properly in some of the legacy stuff.

I just now learned about this thread in the "Instruments" and not in the "Wusik" forum. I'm running Beta 04 and want to update to the latest production version. Can I use the link in this thread, even though it is for the "demo"?

You would use the link in your Wusik account unless you want to use the demo version
Amazon: why not use an alternative

Thank you VariKusBrainZ, I'll give that a shot this afternoon.

Edit: I may have found a bug on my code with this set, I will try to fix it tomorrow and post a quick update soon. :dog: I'm also 99% finished with the Wusik 4000 & 8000 port using the changes done with Wusik Station V8 (much less CPU usage for those two other programs too, yaiks!)
