What do you guys think of presonus hardware? Seems like studio one has been stealing the spotlight.
They have monitors, hardware mixers, headphones? Thoughts?

I had a Faderport and their firmware updates were a bit weird in my view - they combined firmware update and windows drivers somehow, never knew what it was doing.
For me it ended in motorized fader did not work.
So contacted support, which quickly helped me to another firmware update that fixed this.
For some reason, this was not available among firmware updates without this separate contact.
Another thing that was weird about Faderport was that StudioOne was not mentioned once as supported, as I recall. It existed before they bought and rebranded S1 - and never updated documentation.
And integration into S1 was not thought through fully, in my view of course. If using track folders you were completely lost where you were in program - doing this previous/next track thingy. One would think a company would make adjustments for this to work the way you want with their own hardware, doing implementation in S1 knowing about the hardware they had.
So overall, I'm not impressed from this experience.
Yes, I ran S1 Producer 2.x some years ago, but was not hooked on that either.
Have no idea about quality of the rest. Looked at preamps, and they have stuff in $2000 range, so if selling any of this, I guess they do some good stuff.

I don't own a Faderport so I can't speak to it. But I do own an 1818VSL, Firestudio 26x26, Inspire 1394 and use them with Studio One Pro 3.01. It all works flawlessly, and the XMAX preamps in the 1818 & Firestudio sound great.

Have a PreSonus FireBox here, it was my first 'serious' audio interface which I bought in 2006. Happy to report it's still going strong to this day.
Just make the music that you enjoy (failing that go for a walk, watch some porn, have a fight with a random bloke until something else happens).

I have a pair of Sceptre S6 monitors in my studio and absolutely LOVE them.
My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Akai VIP = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

I have Presonus TubePre V2.
Actually, I have RME UCX.
But It is not sufficient to amplify my guitar sound.
(lower gain and higher noise at internal preamp)
Now I'm very satisfied with TubePre V2.
Because it has sufficiently higher gain,
tube saturation sound and lower noise.
