Do you want pressure to control the volume rather than the usual amp envelope?
That would be SO helpful! Thank you.

Yes, pressure to control the over-all volume AFTER the pad(s) are pressed down. To do swells and such.

Do you find you have to hit the pads harder with Omni to get to 127? Im finding a significant difference between it and the Roger Logic examples.

Ok no problem, I will knock up a simple multi tomorrow for you.....

I will look at the velocity as well....

How did you make out? Encountering any of the same problems I had? Cheers

Still early here, I will have a look soon after a coffee.

Hi,

I have a simple patch and Multi showing how to set it up you can get the zip here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/s45sr1d0t1xhl ... e.zip?dl=0

The larger file is the multi, you need to set your Linnstrument up as ChPerNote, bend-12, Z=chan Pressure.

It is just a simple oscillator in layer A.

Adjust the velocity sensitivity with the Velo knob in the bottom right.

Adjust the fade out with the amp envelope release.

Adjust the pressure effect using the modulation section. Source will affect the depth of control and target affects the start and end point of the control.

Cheers

Thanks very much for the time and effort! How do I load the sound? I cant seem to open it with Omni. Shouldnt the PB range be set to 24 for CHperNote?

Are you on a Mac or PC?

For a mac look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fm-8KZffl2M

For a PC it is a bit simpler: http://www.ehow.com/how_8754166_import- ... phere.html

For the pitch bend I always use 12 as I like that setting for Vibrato, if you want 24 you can change the range in the "Main" tab in omnisphere.

Finally getting back to this. Sorry for the delay. Moved and renovated a into a new studio! I'm trying to import the file but I see no USER folder when I open up OMNI 2. I followed the video and put your preset in there.

1) Quit your Daw.... (Important step!)

2) Drop the 3rd party Preset folders into the <User name>/Music/STEAM/Omnisphere/Settings Library/Patches/User folder... using Finder

Note: If you cannot locate the STEAM folder as described above.. you may have installed it elsewhere during the initial Omni2 installation process.

3) Launch Daw and open Omni2

4) Press the Library refresh button in Omni2 (Open the full patch browser and the refresh button is the circle Arrow at the bottom right hand side of the full browser)

5) The patches will then be found in the User Folder in the drop down Directory menu just above and to the left of the Full Patch browser...

Note: Omni2 recently introduced in V2.1 a new way of adding and sharing patches via options in the Omni2 Utility menu....

The Share command creates the new 'all in one' .omnisphere file which you can then send/give to someone else to share your own presets...

The Install .omnisphere command allows you to install these new shared files and puts everything into the correct place automatically...

Here is the .omnisphere file from the new Share menu. https://www.dropbox.com/s/toqvp56z4khhj ... phere?dl=0

It doesn't seem to work with multis so you will have to create the multi.

BobDog,

You might find this useful (If you haven't already read through it all..) as to how to share Multis... with Omni2

Note: This is just an example and is not meant to be useful as a preset in any way :)
