64bit for OXE is a bit of overkill as it only uses like, 1mb of system ram.... but i realize
there are people out there that might want to use it alongside their sample hog library
synths that forced them into moving to x64

therefor i asked Daniel if x64 is planned for OXE. I also asked him about implementing
a performance mode that allows 8 programs to be layered like on the Yamaha TX802.

I remember using Oxe years ago and being furiously upset about it losing my changes among other usability bugs that I'm sure would have turned many people off of this synth for a long time.

REALLY glad it's been updated to address just about all the issues I've had in the past with it, and basically is indeed one of the best free FM synths available at the moment!

Accordingly, the author deserves a donation for continuing to support his work. Awesome stuff.

Perhaps eventually it might encourage more contributions in the future!

Daniel has coded a beta x64 version of OXE FM synth available for testing here:

he has asked me to test the x64 version but i do not have x64 win OS.

How's it going, would love to see what you come up with for a skin, I know you must have improved in the many years since we worked together. BTW I work on the west side now greenfield and 696 we have to get together someday.

fine tune is controlled by simply hovering over the parameter knob and using the mouse scroll wheel.
yes, right click is to compare edited patch to unedited one.

hi lalo, Daniel is a the moment hard at work on automation. i'll ask about parameter smoothing.
