Its on sale at Sweetwater now:
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/QLSOGoldC
and, I'm looking for a good orchestral library to compliment the factory Kontact one(which I don't think is all that horrible)
Or, should I stick with the VSL stuff and get this
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/VSE2
looking to spend around $300 so the Albion stuff is a bit out of range right now, thanks for any opinions!

Hi Gary, I recently compiled a list of all (updated constantly) available complete multi-sampled orchestral libraries. That might be of interest to you.
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 2&t=443073
There are many many options besides Albion, East West and VSL, many around 300$, 200 and even under.
Since You have Kontakt 5, You'll want to take advantage of that. Kontakt opens more possibilities, since many libraries only support the full version. East West is good if You compose epic orchestral music, VSL offers top quality + flexibility.

Yeah, I saw that, thanks for putting that together!
Apparently, the Kirk Hunter Diamond is on sale too, it says $299, but I hit the buy button for fun and it comes up at $150?

Haha! That image made me cringe. I didn't even know He had a sale until now, even though I strolled around there not awhile ago. Gotta give Him credit regardless. One man, still endorsed by big Hollywood-names. Not that many big developers can say the same. Reminds Me of the other genious, Eduardo Tarilonte.garywilliamson1 wrote:does he ever advertise sales? or is it like a slot machine, hit the button and see what comes up, lol.
