Hi Melophony. This is a very cool track. Lovely feel to it. Like the guitars. Nicely sung too. Well done!

Not a style I usually like, you pulled it off well, and the mix/final mastering hit me and was unusual somehow. What VST did you use to get your mixdown sound?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks! I use melda vst but I realyse that the most important is to use correctly your tools and feel good with it.

Ok, but what Melda tools did you use correctly in your output stage to get your sound?melophony wrote:Thanks! I use melda vst but I realyse that the most important is to use correctly your tools and feel good with it.

Thanks melophony. I have never demo`d any Melda products. Mainly because I think the GUI`s are ugly. When you said you used them on this tune, I decided to look past the GUI. I usually don`t need/use a finalizer type stage with ambient but your tune had such a distinct sound I just needed to know.melophony wrote:it's classical vst on master: mmoderncompressor dynamic eq Mmultibanddynamics

I just found out your channel and all your songs are really nice !
Did you record the guitar yourself or use samples ?

the song itself is very nice. the mix is clean however it is unessesarily mixed quite loud. i had to lower
my volume to properly enjoy it... but then experienced the old loss of dynamic range of the song in doing so.
remember kids, too much compression destroys dynamic range. this song does not strike me as a "floor killer"
that requires a hot track volume.

Thanks Abyssin, No it's vst sample guitar! Layzer, you're right. I just replace it by a less loud version.

Wow, it sounds great. I have tested a lot of guitar vst like AmpleSound, Poetic Guitar, Efimov, or Spicy Guitar but it's not quite good.melophony wrote:Thanks Abyssin, No it's vst sample guitar!
Which one do you use ? Maybe I can recognize some spicy guitar, right ?
