Anyway it's quite possible to have a GUI that is both highly functional and good looking at the same time. The two are not mutually exclusive.

The knobs are not placed correctly. I guess you just took the new SEM style skin that was just posted at Admiral Quality and added your knobs (and some other redesign of the background of course...) but forgot to check/correct the knobs placement.Norbz wrote:I did the wide versions - previews and downloads ahead: (Right click>View Image to see full size/non-fuzzy)
Downlaod the .zip with two skin folders (light/dark): http://www.dubturbo.com/poly-ana-skins-norbz-wide.zip
Feel free to keep editing from here if you'd like, let me know if you want the psd's for the background.
Enjoy!

EDIT:
Here's one more combining the two - the .zip has been updated:
Looking great, Norbz. Already a vast improvement on the existing interface.Norbz wrote:I did the wide versions
nice job, Norbz!! i like the dark one better. the only thing i would complain about was the font size, which is partly pretty, pretty small (though this is probably due to the overall layout of the synth and not to your skin). keep going, really like your styleNorbz wrote:I did the wide versions - previews and downloads ahead: (Right click>View Image to see full size/non-fuzzy)
Thanksrasmusklump wrote:The skins from norbz would be fantastic if they hadn't this 3D stuff going on in the background.
The shading on the lines aren't too bad now that they are more subtle. But all the extra lines that are cutting up the sections are actually adding clutter I think. But otherwise they look great. But why put lines in between so many things? I would suggest leaving the lines the same as the original sections. Don't divide the envelopes section and oscillator sections and the rest further, I think there's no need.rasmusklump wrote:The skins from norbz would be fantastic if they hadn't this 3D stuff going on in the background.
No, feel free to keep bombing away. This is great workNorbz wrote: I'll stop bombing the shit out of this thread now .
