Interesting, dramatic piece that goes in unusual directions - stands out from the crowd of cliched, predictable epic orchestral tracks.
I agree with Frantz that the reverb might need adjusting a little...
For me I think it's the fact that too many sounds have a significant amount of reverb applied to them and that tends to flatten the sound-stage + push everything back in the mix. A few 'drier' sounds would be a bit more 'in the face' of the listener and add a little extra edge to the mix.

Great stuff, pzi! I agree with ChamMusic's statement that this track does a nice job of avoiding most of the cliches of "epic" orchestral music. I feel like there are some nice Gothic Metal influences in there, too.

definitely, tho I added "rock" to the genre list on the SC track, but indeed some panels from gothic metal. It's interesting how a topic can inspire in so many directions, and as this was quite free form I went with whatever came to me, one after another then mingled them into one.
