Hope you guys can help me.

When I try to start Bitwig on Mac, the icon keeps jumping up and down for a few seconds, and then stops. And nothing happens even after waiting for an hour

I've tried the following:
* Older versions seems to work fine (up until 1.0.13).
* Also I've tried installing java as suggested in this post: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 9&t=430258
* In activity monitor the bitwig process is at 0% CPU and 24kb of size
* Renaming the Bitwig library folder doesn't help either

Some information:
OS X 10.8.5
Macbook pro 2011 17"
Doesn't work on BWS 1.0.14 and up

Any thoughts?

had this also with other apps. I used this little app to check the rights.

did you repair disk permissions? Otherwise contact support i'd guess: support@bitwig.com

maybe update to 10.10. i am on 10.11 beta and having only little problems!

Thanks for the tips guys. Just in case anyone else running into this problem. After contacting support it was fixed by going to preferences -> security & privacy and turning on "Allow applications downloaded from everywhere".
