Bazille & Aalto mainly, Spire to a lesser (but still noticable) extent.

I'd add Serum but since I'm still demoing it, i guess it doesn't count.

Diva and Reaktor depending on the module. One literally blew up my CPU. LOL.

Mini Syn'X. great sound, too much cpu :(

My favourite high cpu (for me) synths would be the XILS ones I have.

The other day I was wondering why some synths use WAY more cpu with longer amp envelope release than other synths?
No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

Because in that case more voices are running
Works at KV331 Audio
SynthMaster voted #1 in MusicRadar's "Best Synth of 2019" poll
SynthMaster One voted #4 in MusicRadar's "Best Synth of 2019" poll

Alchemy, especially with complex filters and/or Acoustic Reverb FX.

Diva & Kaivo

Diva is probably already as optimised as possible, but I'm still waiting for a Kaivo patch.

And then you have those "enjoy us, while your daw session lasts" type of (SM/SE) synths.

I love the vintage 1995 code language... "Fil A Ctf" "D<>W" etc.

TubeOhm's Anti-Transpirant in the 8x oversampling version, It can make some really nasty bass and lead sounds with - especially for SE - surprising sound quality. But I can't play chords on it, it behaves like Diva etc. in terms of CPU :P

Yes I know, but why does this seem to effect some synths more than others?

Razor.. damn you partials!
Why do I love you so..

As for drum synths, I find that NI Polyplex takes too much juice for what it does... Just one instance in a track can dramatically reduce my track count.

Spire in 96kHz is simply killer even for my i7
