Problem in iZotope Trash

How to do this, that and the other. Share, learn, teach. How did X do that? How can I sound like Y?

When the source is a sub bass sound (e.g. a long-decaying 808 from eks-9) and I use a distortion mode like "Crispy", as the sound starts to end, a bunch of clicking starts up which turns into feedback. Does anyone know how to prevent this / why it happens?

what version are you using?

2.03 in FL Studio 11.

Is it version 2.03.291?

I'm on OSX so i might not be able to help. Have you tried posting on the Image line forums?

It is. But using Trash in Logic on a Mac I get the same thing.

Hm maybe i should download the EKs-9
Demo and see if it does the same in Bitwig studio.

It doesn't have to be eks-9... any sub-bass sine wave with a somewhat long decay works. I did that with massive and got the same thing.

Nevermind iZotope confirmed it's not a bug and that's how that algorithm is supposed to work... too bad because it sounds great on an 808 until the clicking.
