I can't tell if that's a parody or if they're serious.

I have to admit though that I have heard "love charzer" a few more times, and while it is a truly shitty song I am quite fascinated by it. I can't quite get over that weird vibrato thing he does at the end of some phrases. Still cracks me up every time.

That 'weird vibrato thing' he does is called.... singing! Just with a lot of vibrato

I guess we have very different definitions of 'singing'

I'd estimate around 100-150000 religious leaders in India. Many of these would be Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Sikh etc so Im guessing around 20-30% can be legitimately called cult leaders.

I enjoyed watching that Vennu Mallesh vid a lot more than much modern chart pop to be honest - the massive over-use of melodyne/autotune and the lyrics are simply hysterical surely???

Ah, The Shaggs. Been meaning to look into them ever since Philosophy Of The World was re-released on CD. That was, what... eight years ago? Anyway, cheers BigCat!

It was worse than I could have imagined. Yet at the same time, it was better than I could have imagined. That is some unique music. So unique I can't stop laughing.

They certainly have a well-earned place in the history of rock.
