Keyswitch works on all articulations but Latching Keyswitch only works on some...

Hi. I've been having problems getting some articulations such as Slide- in whole step to work as a latching keyswitch. Sometime the whole MIDI connection stops working too. I am using general MIDI and not MIDI 2. Do you think that is the problem?
The Slide in whole step does work as a keyswitch but not as a latching keyswitch.

I covered a little of that in my other post, so hopefully that'll help. Regarding the MIDI connection stopping, does the light for MIDI input in Kontakt stop flashing as well? Or if your DAW has some indication that it's receiving MIDI, does that stop as well?
