Looking to understand how they make the chorus fake slow attack low-mid range synth cello sound. (Not the high blep blop sounds)
Read an article and some of the stuff they use include Kontakt (with manipulation), MPC Player, Korg ms-20, sub phatty digital preformer MX4 vst and nord stage 2.
My guess its just possibly getting a sample putting it in kontakt adding warm sat, bit rate, distortion slow attack and screwing with it a bit. Seems like a saw/cello sound
I am fairly new to synth design so you're expertise would be appreciated.
