It was mentioned elsewhere that VST edition where being dropped, but it was just a rumour, so take it with a pinch of salt, although it has been a while since a new VST release.

Just thought I'd add this since the topic came up. I got an automated email from Jorgen on Jan 1, 2015 alerting me that one of the features I voted for had been completed. That feature is "More MIDI editing options":

http://energyxt.uservoice.com/forums/31 ... ng-options (http://energyxt.uservoice.com/forums/31359-coming-next/suggestions/363529-more-midi-editing-options)

So, there's that.

Hope multicore support comes along before I die...

Very happy to see any work being done on eXT, bought it at v1.0 VSTi only, and have used it almost daily since. If multicore support comes along and there is continued development this still could be one of the best hosts for me... sent Jorgen the same words when I bought v1.0 as a VST, and have received a few updates since.

God bless Jorgen, very happy to see you got eXT back.

Me too.
I could be wrong, but I get the feeling that the Behringer-deal* was the major factor for the recent years' slowdown in the development of eXT2. Now out of that deal, I think/hope we'll see a increase in development. At least that's what I believe Jorgen hinted at in a post somewhere last year (can't remember where).

*I sure there were, and still are, things that Jorgen can't talk about (NDA stuff).

Well, the future looks bright. :)

Some sign of life on http://www.energy-xt.com

Besides some new highlight info for new product M3 (http://www.energy-xt.com/index.php?id=0119) and copyright update on all pages we also got a new entry on the 'Coming next' list (http://www.energy-xt.com/index.php?id=0108)

Let's assume Jorgen already fixed all the bugs reported since initial V3 beta (which introduced multi core support) without mentioning it here (since this is more of a new features list than a changelog). :?
