Hey guys a setting to use a osc to fm the filter would make sense? there is workaround but it would make things easier and more flexible ? or maybe there is a easy way and i didn't find out yet

yes was experimentating using the lfo with the step seq to create more cycle to overcome the limitation of 100hz at max speed it work fineSynthetic Wav wrote:or maybe there is a easy way and i didn't find out yet

Hmmm, I don't follow, what is the question exactly?

I think they are asking for a way to modulate the filters frequency with an LFO, but at a faster rate than 100hz. Like controlling with an oscillator in the audible range.

Very clever. I will certainly remember this one.Synthetic Wav wrote:yes was experimentating using the lfo with the step seq to create more cycle to overcome the limitation of 100hz at max speed it work fine

Hi Vojtech
indeed like jmg8 mentioned i was looking to modulate a filter with one of the oscillator, it made me think maybe a switch to the modulator lfo to turn it into a oscillator could be handy for audio rate modulation. but with the step seq it s possible to overcome this limitation.
btw thanks for random phase switch , some patch that were soounding great sound even better now, more alive.

Aaaaaha . Hmmm interesting. Personally I'd suggest against that though to be honest - filters can cause quite some instabilities when changed too quickly.
Edit: I don't mean crashing or anything, just sudden abrupt signal changes etc.

yes it work best with not much range in the modulation , with the step seq i added more cycle i don't remember excaclty but i think i quadrupled the speed of the lfo and it worked fine to find the sweet spot i needed.

Yeah, I can see that would work . It's a little extreme, but well... nothing is forbidden in music

Hi Vojtech, i don t know if it s already possible but is there a way to make the lfo rate to track keys/notes ? if not for this and some other stuff it could be usefull

OK. Go to the "MIDI" box in the bottom right corner. Click on the notes tab. Click near the top where it says "GLOBALS-GAIN" Then look for LFO1 in the list (or the number of the mod you are using) in the window just to the right scroll down and select "FREQUENCY" click OK. check in the list to the left and tick the box to activate it. You can now set the range in the values section.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.
