smartelectronix still in development? I thought all their plugins were 32bit and developers couldn't be reached.

Exactly! It's the only time I've ever gotten the same 3d 'feeling' as listening to classic hardware phasers.
Curiously, I hadn't seen your post above mine (on page 1).
But, you're right - the Oligarc phaser is unique for me too in terms of software.
(Other phasers such as those by ArtsAcoustic, Audio Damage and Sound Toys are excellent, and I have bought them, yet I haven't managed to get that huge 'coming at you' swirliness with them as I have when fiddling experimentally with Oligarc Phaser).
Also, the Oligarc Chorus is a lovely effect, and the Oligarc Drive is useful though not essential.
(Both of these accompany Oligarc Phaser as a 3-software package).

I get a lot of mileage out of uhbik-p and also the stuff in guitar rig. Also i use Ubermod quite a bit. all of which makes me smile.Gone soft wrote:Though it's only available as part of a bundle Uhbik-P might be the thing for this with from 14 and up to 42 allpassfilters. Soundtoys PhaseMistress is a very feature full phaser. Not sure if it goes extreme enough for you, but it does certainly for me. It has for sure a great sound.

The best for me by far. Now that is a successful emulation.. Smoooooth.electro wrote:Nothing is touching Bigrock from Artsacoustic.

And once you actually "open" it to tweak it in ways the original hardware cannot, you reach phaser heaven.
I don't use my small stone pedals anymore, unless i play live without the computer.
And then i miss the controls.

Too bad the 64 bit version is a crashtastic, mess. Avoid this abandonware.Chopper wrote:The best for me by far. Now that is a successful emulation.. Smoooooth.electro wrote:Nothing is touching Bigrock from Artsacoustic.

Interesting. I thought the problems I'd been having with this were just me. I can never get the GUI to display for a start, it fails to the DAW default. Really annoying since the plugin wasn't cheap.Frantz wrote:Too bad the 64 bit version is a crashtastic, mess. Avoid this abandonware.Chopper wrote:The best for me by far.
