I thought it would be cool to have an Amplitube Pedal Request thread. I'll go first.
I would really like a proper emulation of the latest Whammy pedal. Yes I know Amplitube has the "Wharmonator" but it is just way too glitchy as it slides through pitches to be useful for me. I'm looking for something to get those great Doug Gilmour lead bends which rise and drop octaves and would love a super smooth pitch shifting pedal. Plus it would be cool for dive bombs or other trem effects for those of us without whammy bars. The focus should be on making it as realistic and smooth pitch shifting / gliding as possible. Polyphonic would be cool, but even just a nice monophonic for leads would be welcomed.

I'm curious what people use for midi pedals. There seems a dearth of them on the market.

HAHA!!! Of course I meant the legendary Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour! I really cant believe I made that mistake! I guess my subconscious is excited for the start of hockey season, haha!
As for midi peal, I'm assuming you mean midi expression pedals? The best I've found is still the overpriced for what it is Roland EV-5.

+1 for proper Whammy. also, Dallas Rangemaster. i know about Distorque plug, but i would like to have it in Amplitube.
as for MIDI pedals, i use Line6 FBV Express MKII, it's great and pretty durable. i wish there were more buttons though, but otherwise it's awesome.

I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

The one downside to a Whammy pedal software plug is I don't think there are any "center return" midi pedals that allow you to bend up or down and when you remove your foot goes back to center position like a pitchbend wheel (unless someone knows of one). That hardware would make the software a lot more appealing...
