This is my other solo project, Anger Cage. More of a grunge/alternative rock feel to these songs. Only got 5 songs finished, so far. Got another one written just last night, but haven't recorded the vocals, yet.

Does anybody know of any sample packs that have proper metal singers in them? I'm thinking Iron Maiden. That guys vibrato is awesome. Dio was a monster too. I'm not into grunt metal noize (or watever it's called).

I assume it's possible to get in on this Audiority Group Buy if you're interested.

One pack seems especially appropriate to this Thread so I'll quote myself ...

He has other interesting stuff too. If you can get the Group Buy Coupon, then the deal is sweet:Aloysius wrote:I don't think there's another preset Pack for Massive quite like 'Massive Metal Synths'. Worth a listen to the DEMOs at least.

Ha ha- Humanoid, I was thinking the same thing when I was selecting Sample Logic libraries to buy the other day- I proudly told them- I want them all except the guitar library. "We dont need guitar in the band!"Numanoid wrote:Usually metal bands have prided themselves in putting stickers on their albums like "No synthesizer on this record"
Iron Maiden almost got butchered when they dared to use a little bit of synths for textures on "Somewhere in time"
How are the metal fans gonna react when they find out that songs are made by a computer?
By the way- Sound Iron has great virtual vocalist for metal!

I write thrash metal using nothing but vst instruments...it sounds convincing as hell. If you're writing music, it shouldn't matter what your instrument of choice is as long as you do ALL of the creation yourself.Astralv wrote:Ha ha- Humanoid, I was thinking the same thing when I was selecting Sample Logic libraries to buy the other day- I proudly told them- I want them all except the guitar library. Speaking of Iron Maiden,
I know them. Its pretty funny, they don't even own computers. Do everything on
their Iphones. When I ask them about music tech, they're like "what?"
They also get really huggy when they drink...
Sry, a bit ot...
