The track is an experiment for me to combine electronic and acoustic instruments.
The song is a collaboration with Frank Sattler on trumpet and Kai Sattler on trombone.

Real fine music there Gucky.
Personally haven`t seen you `round for awhile. Glad to see you.
Wow real horns! How often does that happen in the Cafe? Not much.
I thought the piece could have been a bit tighter, could use some editing for that. Synth rushing a bit and some other stuff. Micro-timing stuff.
Sounds good though.
The piece sounds processional, maybe. What did you have in mind composing this music?

EDIT - Wouldn`t `ya know the next thread I go to after this has a solo trumpet! [Space Doom Jazz] What are the chances of that?!

BTW, have you noticed how much the SC music sausage graphic resembles a carrot? Maybe rename the piece 'A Carrot for Sea Biscuit'.

many thanks for your feedback.
I had a musical pause for the last 5 months. I had no ideas for new songs.
But not I found my fun for music again!

I like to make picture music. That is the idea behind "Hope": I think it could be the last song of a love movie. After many adventures two people find to together. They ride on horses into the sunset to a common future.

Hi Gucky.
Yes, I disappear from view over different lengths of time myself...many musical ppl do I suppose.
Hey, want to make a suggestion. No need to go with it just cause I mention it.
I`m hearing 2 aspects of the drums that might be improved. The beat itself and the room.
The drums are too upfront and present...no real room acoustics. Secondly as I mentioned above,
the song is a 'moving forward' or procession sort...into the sunset..ok...may I suggest a beat something more like this;

'Steps Ahead' very cool track, I liked that.
You could have just moved the bass up a fifth as a chorus and it would have made the track so much better...you lazy person.

Liked that beat a lot...with the rhythm box on top.

- oops forgot...best trombone ever...'Tropical Hot dog Night'.

I am very happy that you still hear my old songs.

After a musical burn-out time I am making two new albums at the moment:
An album in the style of "deep forest" and an album where I have guest musicians
like in "Hope".

I changed now the song a little bit.
I added a new trombone solo starting at 1:45
and I changed the room of the drums.

Hey Gucky...really fine job!
I love the new bone solo and the drums sound natural and fit right in.
Played twice on external PC speakers and sounds super.

Drum rolls used 2nd half would be perfection.

I think you were commissioned to compose this..no?

I just love the trombone solo. I guess that is also Kai Sattler?
