I cant honestly believe how much better Bitwig 1.2 is than Ableton 9. I agree when version 2 is out its seriously going to own everything else because it basically is already now. Ableton really need to pull something out of the hat now. The thing is i grew to love having this additional pallet that you get with Ableton clips etc but you use it long enough and the limitations drive you bonkers. Then Bitwig comes along and addresses every single thing that pissed me off about Ableton when still on version 1. Mental. Thanks guys.

Bitwig just got even better! 1.2 is really great. It's such an inspiration to work with - I've been more creative than ever, with a bit of help from the amazing Synth1 vst.
Great work guys!!!!

the shortkey of the 'delete' finally can be reconfigured, so the zero length time cutting > note chopping is working comfortable from now (I've put to 'x')Regnas wrote:No piano roll improvements?

the multi-line editing is much better with it, anyway chord chopping is quite fun in BWS from now for sure (it needs all your fingers in the following keys: 1,2,3, ctrl(deselecting notes), shift, x)

Can I map those functions (delete etc) to the mouse buttons, or it's for keyboard only?xbitz wrote:the shortkey of the 'delete' finally can be reconfigured, so the zero length time cutting > note chopping is working comfortable from now (I've put to 'x')Regnas wrote:No piano roll improvements?
