Which synth maker starts with a K and ends with a G? Yeah well I can't call it that, see here's the King One Many synth for Kontakt. Lots o samples in there. Also The Iowa Orchestra has been Electrified and so has the latest from Karoryfer, a cool sax, all based on the scripts and shell by Mickaël Ménager. There is also an acoustic version of the sax. A couple others things are scattered on that page if you haven't looked in recent weeks.
For folks who prefer stand alone type VSTs, the LDK1609 Violin with every note sampled and some nice articulations. It is the base violin in the Sonatina Orchestra supersized.

Have fun Black Friday shopping and if you get time, giving a bit of Thanks. So much cool stuff out there but try not to melt the credit cards. Though I must admit I'm a bit Greene with jealousy of those who can afford that new awesome drummer in your computer from one of our resident geniuses!

Thank you, bigcat. I have a lot of my needs already covered, and still I found nice "stuff" (as you so unceremoniously call it) on your site. For people who just start it must be a treasure trove. So once again, thank you and the sample makers for your work.

Thanks FLWrd. And you remind me to thank all those sample makers. I tend to forget the incredible amount of work it is to create and edit all the samples that allow me to play about and make these instruments.
