I know its been said many times before but proper fades is essential when working with audio. Being able to adjust multiple pieces of audio via grab handles or numerically in the arrange and quickly shape things up - Presonis seem to have got this done very well with studio one. The gain automation works round is entirely fiddly/clunky + long.

+ 1.000.000 to fade handles. It boggles my mind that these haven't been there since 1.0...
Handles and crossfades in arrangement view are an essential feature in any serious DAW.

Asked about this feature so many times...takaii wrote:can it use negative value? If not no its not. Abletons track delay can use negative value and does not introduce latency except start the track earlier. And push the other tracks even forward. Its a populare teqnucie to use a clap with kick and it it before the kick to give this sensation and feel.xbitz wrote:the free Voxengo Sample Delay http://www.voxengo.com/product/sounddelay/ isn't good for this ?takaii wrote:Nick allen
will track delay as in ableton come to bitwig in one of your future upgrade?
I really want to shift sounds so every transient if precussion do not hit same time as kick to give space in mix. Its a professional way to use audio. Atm i do manual work ofc by shifting entire clip
Love the great amount of bugfixes anyway right now. But curious about future
i could use arranger manual i wrote also which is as simple as a plugin. I want track delay like ableton because i never found anything easier to get the job done

thanks for this.volker@bitwig wrote:Hi,
FIXED - Hardware Instrument device is not letting the sound thru after you open the project until you see the device itself or trigger a note in this track.

well.. its a huge workflow stopper if you work with many automation lanes AND many tracks, nickallen wrote:Gotta give you credit for your persistance Ok you won me over - wanna keep our users happy. I've added an action to show the automation for all tracks (so you can map it in preferences) as well as shift clicking the show automation button to change it for all tracks in that track group. Hope this is what you wanted and I haven't misunderstood.xanthos wrote:1.3.4 and still no "One knob to open/close all automation lanes in arranger".... really.. holy cow!
still reminding this official bitwig email...
"Sorry, aber das wird noch ein Weilchen dauern. Kommt vermutlich frühestens in der 1.2.1, wobei die auch mehr für bug fixes da sein wird, schätze ich."
and want to SEE the project at all - to go through every track and de-activate the automation lane...
So, THANK YOU for that "action" - as long it is a toggle for show all/hide all - its PERFECT!

I'm on El Capitan and opening Bitwig from shortcut/console is working fine for me. Inability to see GUI of most 32-bit plugins is much more painful. Is that a confirmed issue on the list?
Thanks for the update!

I vote for Bitwig devs to solve all Mac issues before anything else, just by solidarity (because i hate the fruit)
