If you haven't checked out Kaivo - theres a 50% off sale that ends today! I can't believe how good the Kaivo presets are. I really underestimated them because there's no reverb or delay used in example vids. I threw on Valhalla VintageVerb and was blown away. When these sounds are treated they have as much character as samples with the clarity of synthesis - SO DELISH. I have to start dreaming up my own patches soon. I posted this in the Market Place forum as well - sorry for the double post but I really feel like this creative tool is woefully overlooked.

Both aalto and kaivo are excellent instruments that you can really play and jam on.

Just played around with Kaivo Demo and made this track.

I fed Kaivo into Crusher-X for the guitar part and it just sounded incredible so i had to share it.

The synth growl was courtesy of U-he Bazille.

He's messing with you guys. I've been religiously checking the Madronalabs news forum (http://madronalabs.com/forums/1-news) because I want Aalto and there's nothing. I'm assuming there will be one sometime this winter, but as the summer sale just ended in September I don't think it will be until after the new year.

Anyone been able to carve out more new and unique sounds with Kaivo over the years?
