The time to buy retro hardware is when you see it for sale! If you snooze, you might looze!
For instance last year at this time saw a lot of Nova and Supernova hardware at decent prices. Today there's only one at double the price. Also I can't find an Amiga computer for sale anymore whereas there were lots a year ago.

So true. For instance I could buy a JV1080 for €100 yesterday. However, the average price is €150 now (Holland). Some do sell them for more than €250.
Anyway, you have to check frequently and then you can have a bargain.
