So, I have read repeatedly that a roll-off at about 16kHz helps recreate the analog sound and give the sound more body so to speak. And I was wondering how to do that using the built-in EQ. I am not so sure I understand how it works. If I am not mistaken one can not reduce the level of frequency bands, but only increase them. Made me think of doing it the indirect way, i.e. by increasing the range below 16kHz. But how? What does bass frequency mean? What happens at that frequency? Its max value is 880Hz.

So far setting the EQ mode to 1-pole and the four knobs to noon, max, noon, max (from l to r) seems to yield a good result, although I have no idea why, frankly
