This makes some very pleasant listening here, although midnight came and went hours ago. A lot of this reminds me of Thomas Newman soundtracks, both in the instrumentaion and the melodies used.

Nice slow 7/8 rythm. This kind of signature often leads to unconventional tracks.

Liked very much first part. Maybe a longer shunt in the ad lib could make the track end in a more peacefull way, it's a bit abrupt ?

Thanks for listening in, gents! I don't know that much Thomas Newman, but I love the American Beauty soundtrack, so thanks for that very flattering comparison! The ending... well, this is going to sound like a rationalization, but it was actually a bit abrupt on purpose... to remind us that we shouldn't get too comfortable... it can all be over quickly.

Glad you liked it! I've really got to spend some time on the music cafe soon, to listen in and reciprocate. Lots of interesting stuff going on there.
