My "Fanboism" aside there are discussions like these already there and as far as I can tell they are not censored(except for trolling).

Honestly, the "Fanboy" argument gets abused in these discussions far to often...

Just to change the subject to something more pleasant, who is buying the Pure India libraries? I personally really like the way content packs are handled with Studio One content, I can easily uninstall something if I don't see myself using it, and easily reinstall it at any time. The downside is it is locked to the host. My question is: how likely are you to buy soundsets that are tied to the host? I personally hope they have some regular 'sale' rotations, for a nice price I think I would jump on some things.

I wonder if Presonus and Earthmoments could be persuaded they would get more sales if they offered wav files as well.

This is the company that provides the samples, they look pretty interesting if you are looking for exotic content.

I meant things that take the lead on the product page on a new release, the bigger shiny things that draw people to the updates. Those are the things that only show up in the top of the line versions typically, like scratchpad and the new routing.

I didn't mean that to say they're useless things.

Anyway, I could record and mix and album in Artist with no issue, as long as it added VST support. Lots of daws don't have a scratchpad feature and people still make records with them. So that was the only point, that unless you just have to have everything the S1 developers create because you just like having everything, Artist is perfectly ok for making music. As is Cubase Essential and other lower tiered products.

Yes, I did because I didn't want to give you bad info. It doesn't do that, what you describe, here on my system. Doesn't matter though. If it does if for you on your system, report it as a bug.

Thanks.

Just as LawrenceF said...I'd rather report it as a bug rather than beat the anvil on a forum about shills and et cetera.

I seriously doubt it. :hihi:

What happens a lot (and it has nothing to do with you or our discussion in this thread) is that people say things or complain before they learn how to use a product and when somebody comes along and corrects the bad info they sometimes get called a shill when they're only trying to help. If a guy, again not you, not talking about you, spends inordinate amount of time pointing out a supposed flaw and then learns that his main problem is that he just didn't read the manual, rarely does he just say "thanks" and move on, too much time invested, they just find something else different to pick at so they can keep saying it's broken and not be "wrong".

This branch of the discussion started from the claim that you can't automate multi instruments, which is obviously incorrect. When I pointed that out, again, not you, the goalposts predictably moved.

Not a big deal though, half the internet is nothing but misinformation in general anyway so nothing unusual there.

Lawrence, it is a bug even I you can't comprehend it. And I wasn't referring to you but some guy who won't be mentioned that just wanted to personally attack and not add anything to th discussion. Now let's change the subject back to something positive, unless you have nothing positive to say.

That may tie in with the new melodyne 4 feature of being able to accurately map tempo changes outside of Melodyne
