Having a bit of a weird problem both with standalone Kontakt Player and running it inside of Logic Pro X.. I can add Shreddage II SRP just fine, but if I quit/restart the instrument will have disappeared from the Libraries tab and consequently any of my settings go with it.
Anyone have a similar problem?
Can't get Kontakt Player to remember Shreddage II SRP

This is a known Service Center bug. You have to manually add the file that helps 'remember' the registration... download this:

To the folder described here...

Thanks! I did actually go poking around in that folder and noticed there was no xml for Shreddage II. I noticed there was a "sc3.tmp" file generated on my desktop that looked suspiciously like the format of "Kontakt Player.xml" but was hesitant to move it.
Comparing the file you just linked to that tmp file, they appear to be identical. I guess it just never quite makes it to the correct folder.
This is super helpful and I'm sorry I didn't find the answer elsewhere. I figured it must be a known bug but nothing I googled came up with this solution. Works perfectly now.
