I have a song and I have to transform it into a nightmare like sound. This song is already 100% done ad released by a musician, I'm simply getting it from internet. I need to use in into the scene of a short movie. This song start normally as it was mastered, then it turns into a nightmare, and it grow of nightmare intensity, after that it stops because the main character wake up from the nightmare and come back to reality. I need your advice please.
I tryed some experiments in ableton live using convolution reverbs follwing a tutorial, but honestly I'm new to this software (ableton) and I would be really grateful if you can suggest me some effect to use on it please. I couldn't find a solution by myself today.
