Hello!
I'm writing an album and I'll be featuring various asian instruments on one of the tracks, therefore I'm searching for good samples/vst's for this. Most notably, I need koto. Other instruments are not so necessary, but are a nice addition. I've found some samples, but was just wandering if anyone could point out any that are particularly worth mentioning.
Thanks

The Koto Nation one was the one I was thinking the most about so seeing it being suggested kinda seals the deal. Thanks a lotBobbotov wrote:Koto Nation (http://impactsoundworks.com/products/world/koto-nation-classical-instruments-of-japan/)

I don't know if you're still looking for suggestions, but I can second that ISW's Koto Nation is a really great instrument. It also includes a great shamisen. For Korean instruments, those Catsnu instruments are actually really nice. There are some really unique sounding articulations, especially in the string instruments. If I remember correctly, the way you trigger certain articulations was a bit unusual, so read the manual(s) to learn how to best use them. Also, take a look at their user agreement. There's some stipulation on how you can use them in commercial works. I tried to contact them for clarification but I never got a reply.

Looperman is always a plentiful resource for me, whatever kind of sample I'm looking for.
Also, thanks for posting this, you've inspired me to do a similar style of project!
