Hi there,
Not meaning to troll
Honestly, the work spent on the advanced features on Bitwig is Astonishing and Remarkable
But there are some very highly important features in Sequencer that you need to have, in order to being able to properly Start Making that Song - in order to really enjoy all the features and benefits that Bitwig offers.
~No Retrospective Record
Played an awesome melody? Want to get right to work with that melody?
In other DAWs you simply press a key to Dump the MIDI Buffer unto the track ( if you have been looping a part in your song while jamming it is in perfect timing divided in to multiple midi parts as well )
Cubase - Press Shift+numpad*
This a feature used by Many well known composers for Film, and Dance Floors
~No Step Record
Want to change a chord in your song? Want to just play that chord on the Keyboard and input it right there where your cursor for editing the melody is situated?
In other DAWs you can record, edit and rearrange parts of your melody on the fly by "inserting" a Chord ( or one note if that suits you better ) by using a feature called Step Editor
Both of these features are Crucially important for Beginning your Song.
( and can be used alot during the whole process of creating ones song too )
All the other awesome features in Bitwig can come in to play only after that. But now the Starting out of your song feels like it is Rigged
Just saying.
There are many users lurking and looking into Bitwig, hitting that same wall with the lack of options how to edit and start out with your ideas
Thank you for your time

Lol, hyperbole much?
If you played an awesome melody just play it again after you hit record.
Step insert a chord, cool, it´s quantized though.
Not saying these are unnecessary but certainly not basic or essential to make THAT song lol.
And what´s up with "proper attention", do you expect replies from the devs?

Not always easy! Sometimes randomly jamming you hit upon some accidental magic & you need to capture that fast. Often impossible to replay exactly, or even remember what it was exactly you played.Tearing Riots wrote: If you played an awesome melody just play it again after you hit record.
Not an essential feature but one that's VERY useful & proven. Defo in the wishlist!
