Crossover

I just came across the vst crossover. It is exactly what I was looking for. The problem I have with it is that it does not appear to honor vst parameters. Yes, I can save and restore presets. But the setup does not get saved with the user project so each time that gets loaded, the crossover is set to the 4 band default and I must open and load a preset.

In the program I am using A host I have written using Juce. If I query the crossover vst for parameters it says 0 so no parameters are saved for restore on the next startup? Is this by design? Or is there a way to get it to load a default preset?
