SynthMaster 2.8 no AU validation in Logic!

Hi,
I updated my SynthMaster to version 2.8 and since then it doesn't get validated in Logic Pro X (10.2.2, MacOS 10.11.5).
I already deleted all previous files and did a new installation of SynthMaster 2.8(.2) but again no AU validation.
Do I am the only one with this issue?

For whatever it's worth, I'm on Logic 10.2.2 and OSX 10.9.5 (rather than 10.11.5), and haven't had a validation issue.

Don't know if this will help either, but Im running Logic 10.2.2 on MacOS 10.11.5 and Synthmaster 10.8 validates just fine here....

Not for me on Yosemite - fails Logic X validation, tried rescanning but still won't open and although it scans into Studio One the au will not open when I try and load it.

It's probably a version mismatch of components (sometimes copying fails during installation but the installer doesnt tell the errors)

I'd recommend a total clean installation:

1. delete documents/synthmaster
2. delete /users/shared/synthmastertemp27
3. delete /library/audio/components/synthmaster2.component
4. delete /library/audio/components/synthmaster2fx.component
5. delete /library/application support/kv331 audio/synthmaster
6. reinstall http://www.synthmaster.com/downloadfile.aspx?fileId=43 (full setup)
7. run DAW, validate if necessary

Sorry just did all that but same problems - in some hosts (inc Logic X) it just won't validate or scan in, in Reaper now it's freezing the scanner, in Studio One it scans but won't load, Kore ignores it completely.

Had the same problem during initial validation. I opened up the audio units manager in logic and had to manually validate it (checking the box) and then it worked. It does that with some plugins for some reason.

Until I sort that out, here's the workaround: Retrieve your license key file via

http://www.synthmaster.com/requestlicensefile.aspx

and copy it over to: Documents/SynthMaster

OK validates now - so all these problems just because the keyfile was in a different place?

Can't change skin to the blue one though.

When the key file version doesn't match, that popup window shows up and asks for serial number/email address. Looks like when run from auval there's an issue. I'll try to figure out why. If I can catch the exception inside that failing cause I can at least display an error message and redirect the user to our "request license key file" page.
