It's indeed an older one. But the period of "Bullet in the gun", i.e. around 2000 was still ok. The high-frequency super-saw mess was getting more and more pronounced by then, but it was still mostly used effectively. In the years after that, super-saw was almost all you heard, and production in general just stagnated and started to become a parody of itself.garryknight wrote:While I like that track a lot, it does sound very dated to me. To me, 2000 was the end of trance.
"Trance Nation 4" mixed by Ferry Costen marks the end for me.
From then on House took over what creativity is concerned.
