Guys, I just bought "The beast" and DarkLight and I tried to drag and drop LFO to the cutoff button, it worked but I didn't notice any effect (the LFO with Sine didn't modulate the cutoff freq). So my question :

1) Is the Falcon modulation couldn't affect the UVI library ?
2) what is the benefit by using Falcon over UVI workstation ?

regarding scripting...
i'm just starting out, and i'm wondering if i'm doing something wrong:

at program level, i create a script processor...
in UVI script, i create knobs which apear in the script processor interface...
these knobs react as expected to mouse input.

now when i right click on a knob, i'm able to 'add modulation/program/LFO'
... the knob, however, does not seem to react to the LFO

also, if i right click on a knob, i'm able to 'add modulation/MIDI CC/MIDI CC 3
i then add another Script Processor/Sequencing/MIDI CC LFO
i set the MIDI CC LFO to send MIDI CC 3
... the knob does not seem to react to MIDI CC 3

is this normal?

@cowby this should work so you maybe doing something wrong. Please contact our support.

@the3ug3reeder The modulation on scripted knob do not work. We should remove the option in the right click menu.
modulation (as opposed to automation) require two state as it do not change the value saved (the model)
and this is not possible in the script.

I am not sure if this has been covered in the previous page.

Suppose I drag 2 presets from "The Beast" and if I them to the same MIDI channel, they will sound together when I press any key. However, is it a quick way to use the same set of FX, Arp, Modulation to apply to both of them? They are 2 separate programs and I didn't apply those FX etc ... to both of them in one go.

Put the FX and Arp on the master/top Level or save temporary preset using the copy/paste feature from the FX toolbar

For the mods you will have to do it manually on both.

i'm currently going through the UVI script examples and i can't seem to get this one to work:

the way i'm trying to make it work is simply by copying the example code, and pasting it into a script processor at program level.
before doing that, i used a an Analog Osc to create a single keygroup (just to enable me to actually add a script processor).

hmmm. i'm stumped

Just upgraded to Windows 10 and Falcon standalone now causes afatal crash with black screen and windows shutdown.

Any one else?

(I upgraded from Win8.1 as I had the rare problem of midi connections not working despite the drivers and hardware devices being recognised by the OS)

@VariKusBrainZ Make sure your windows 10 has its update installed and just in case, install back the latest Pace drivers

Happy to say it now solved

I originally had the current iLok software installed which also showed the crash problem.
I had then uninstalled it and Falcon and then installed the version that came with Falcon which also caused the crash.
I then updated iLok again to the current version and now Falcon no longer causes a crash.

if it's possible, it would be super cool if the Multi Envelope had a Trigger Mode:Song like the LFO has.

I hope this latest update works ok with Studio One 3, the last update would not show up in the plugins list even after re-installing and refreshing the list inside S1.

I'll download and install soon and see if the problem still exists.

I assume there was no fix with the massive CPU usage while the gui is open? Still don't understand what is going on with that issue.

This is something I would like to add at some point. This is not trivial though.

We haven't change anything regarding this with S1 as we have no idea what's going on and it do not happen on all config.
