Oooh, I like the shiny ones. Had a stereo like that in the 70s.

Heh, I was thinking the same thing. Jknobman does amazingly well.
Still, I will likely move to 3D graphics and photorealism before long.
I'm just dreading having to stitch the strips together by hand.
Stay tuned...

There are image stitch tools that do that for you. For sure don't do it manually that's wasting creative time.

3 more designs:
pinch/(pinchtoo)pictured) and rounded metal, (rounded metal is not too different from the
other metal ones, except that the specular component rotates to fool
your brain into thinking it looks more realistic than it actually does, theoretically anyway)

Thanks
Yup JKnobman 1.3.2

I've attached the Rounded Metal knob file in case anyone wants to see
how it was made, or just see what settings you need to make knobs for MuLab.
Its really quite easy...

I didn't realise you could do stuff like the E Fade and Up Dn knobs in knobman. Quite like those, though I'm a little sceptical on their practicality. The good thing about mulab's current knobs is that they are so easy to see where they're at.

Jo, is there likely to be an option to use our own knob graphic files and allow easy choosing between different sets? As you scrapped the whole skinning idea from mulab I just wondered if perhaps you may add a more minimal type of skinning where only certain aspects, such as the knobs, could be skinned?

I understand your question, i'm asking myself the same. Can't answer it yet. Currently focused on something else, Mu for Mac related. And soon i'll also take some holidays. After that things will continue in a fresh new working year

JKnobman is really quite capable and convenient. Although the emboss effects could
be a little more flexible IMO. I generally wind up drawing my own contours with layers
as opposed to using the effects.
Anyway, it takes about 10 mins to make one of those knobs with it.
...It would be awesome to be able to embed knob graphics within a patch.
