I was experimenting with

and with Maschine 2.4.6 and came up with a lot of the progressions (signal flow is Music Tools For People > coolsoft midimappper > loopbe1 > maschine 2 > channel set on instrument)
to have a on screen controller, i'm sure this flow would work on any DAW that lets you route midi
