I started by playing in a Scriabin Prelude for piano, after much effort in getting it close to accurate I worked it it through various transformations that perhaps made both Simons wonderful Oud sounds and Scriabins perfection into something Wadish and weird and less than a sum of it's parts. Just another step in my creative journey..

That's quite beautiful, listening to it now, mellow yet haunting, breathing in and out, freezing time, one of those sonic garden walks, looking at a flower here, sitting under a tree there, watching an insect over there...

EDIT: I like how towards the end a sort of theme is developing driven by the harp bell sound an, but most things are said between the lines in this track.

Thanks interesting, I was working with global key changes in Logic, which took time to rework the transitions, adding som reverb smoothed over these and in all that reworking some interesting things came to the surface.. I'm turning into a Logic X fan!

I just released this:



Multi-sampled glockenspiel, a much expanded version of the glockenspiel found in my sound library Aureus Ventus for HALion 5. More pitches were sampled for this release, making it a total of 19 pitches sampled between G4 - C7 (all “white“ keys +C#5), sampled at 3 velocity layers, the lower 2 played with hard plastic mallets, the highest velocity played with metallic mallets for some extra PING. Also more electronic samples and some wavetables were produced, all derived from glockenspiel sounds and phrases in order to create beautiful, ethereal and haunting glockenspiel soundscapes, drones, textures, plucks, an animated wavetable pad and a multi-sampled spectral pad.

Up to 20+ Macros and switches plus the modulation wheel are assigned in each patch, many patches also use aftertouch, providing detailed control over volume envelopes, filtering, amplitude- and pitch modulations, dynamics, stereo animation and more. All patches use some sort of background image in the UI, split patches have colored key-zones in the Falcon keyboard for easier navigation.

Here is a first demo for Falcon Singles - Hang, combining two patches - one layering 3 tempo-synced Hang loops split across the keyboard with FM sequences, the other patch layering tremolo textures in granular mode, one dry and one processed. Plenty of Macro automation going on and a limiter on the output.
