That would be nice, but this vst doesn't sound good. I just tried it and it's disappointing, only the resonance reminds me of a sitar. Ravish SItar from Electro Harmonix which also doesn't sound like a Sitar should be better though.
I guess an electric sitar or a Variax is the best solution.

Yeah, sorry.....looks better than it sounds. I own a Ravish it sounds a quite a bit better.
I've also come up with more convincing Sitar type sounds by chaining various fx...comb filters, flangers, shimmer verbs etc....nice try but, IMHO, it falls short of the mark.
